Small spots on a tooth can turn into large spots of decay, which can cause many problems. Using cell salts to reverse tooth decay is a safe and inexpensive way to save our teeth.
A young mom called me to make an appointment for her children. Her children were raised on a grass-fed beef ranch, drinking raw milk, no sugar, and had never been sick a day in their lives. She had taken them to see a holistic dentist who diagnosed them with many, many tiny cavities. She was devastated! After taking her children’s cases, I suggested three cell salts and their constitutional remedies.
Cell Salts the Salts of Life
I wrote about cell salts and their benefits for pregnancy HERE. Cell salts are fabulous little jewels in the homeopathic cabinet. They are also called Schuessler tissue salts, named after Dr. Wilhelm Heinrich Schuessler. He discovered that these 12 salts were found in all of our cells. I like to think of them as keys that unlock our cells’ absorbing abilities. Because they are so effective, it is wise to use cell salts to reverse tooth decay.
Calc fluor
Calc fluor, or cell salt #1, has a beautiful effect on teeth and gums. It is prominently indicated when tooth enamel is deficient. It can be used 6x, but 12x is the most effective way to reverse tooth decay.
Calc phos
Calc phos, or cell salt #2, is primarily used to restore mineral deficiencies that are causing disorders in the body. It does work on other mineral deficiencies within the body, but this post is about tooth decay. It is used in a 6x potency.
Silicea
Silicea has a particular affinity for small bones of the body. Making it the perfect remedy for teeth. It also helps to strengthen gums, making the teeth healthier. It should be used in the 12x potency.
Did the Cell Salts Reverse the Tooth Decay?
The young mom gave her children these three cell salts three times a day. In fact, she put them into their milk and even made it into ice cream (using honey or maple syrup)! Her children thought they had won the lottery! Six months later, I saw them again. The little boy had zero cavities! However, the little girl had the same, if not more significant, decay spots. Mom was flabbergasted! To have them eating the same thing, mainly doing the same remedies, and to have such different outcomes! I started asking more questions. We figured out the little girl had swollen tonsils and often had her mouth open, especially at night.
The mom found a myofacial therapist for her daughter, and I gave her some remedies for her swollen tonsils. After a few months, the daughter had improved enough that the mom didn’t call for any more appointments.
I had a small cavity on one of my front teeth that I didn’t even know about it. I asked the dentist for six months before she filled it. In the meantime, I treated it with the three cell salts and added Cod Liver Oil to my daily routine. At my next appointment, the dentist decided that the x-ray must have been wrong the first time because there was no decay, and my enamel had grown thicker!
Give it Time
This is not a quick fix. It does take at least six months of treatment to see improvement. But cell salts are so gentle that they can be taken for that long without changing potencies. This can be used as a preventive, but only if you or your children are at risk of developing tooth decay. If your mouth is healthy, let it be healthy!
Elena
This post is perfectly concise and so helpful with the example of the young mama! I find so often that when I look up holistic dental care tools, I’m often met with “brush their teeth! Don’t eat candy! See the dentist 2x a year!”
I also appreciate the timeline you gave, it’s so much easier for me to start a new routine when I have a timeline in mind.
Fantastic post that I know I’ll be referencing in the future and be able to share!
