I have often said I don’t have a favorite remedy, but If I were ever going to get a tattoo, it would be of Gelsemium. It is an excellent remedy for anxiety issues, especially anxiety caused by anticipating an activity. Beyond the mental symptoms, Gelsemium is fantastic for the physical symptoms associated with weakness due to the flu.
Gelsemium (affiliate link) is a homeopathic remedy prepared from the bark of the root of Yellow Jasmine. To prepare it, the bark of the root is potentized (a process by which homeopathic remedies are prepared), which extracts the plant’s medicinal properties. Gelsemium is most often used to treat anxiety, headache, vertigo, cold, nasal allergies, and weakness.
