Of the 3,000 remedies in the homeopathic material medical, no remedy is as powerful to ease nerve pain as Hypericum. It is a wonderfully healing remedy.
As a small child, one of my daughters smashed her fingers in drawers and doors daily. This is no exaggeration. It was a constant thing. One time she even got her fingers caught in a heavy metal door that resulted in her breaking the tip of her pinkie finger!
I kept a bottle of Hypericum in the kitchen, by the back door, in my purse, in the diaper bag, and upstairs in her room because I needed it so often!
Hypericum for Nerve Pain
Hypericum is an excellent remedy for all types of nerve pain. Including the pain from injuries to small nerve-rich areas like the fingers and toes. Also injuries to the tongue, teeth, or eyes. Hypericum is also indicated in injuries to the back, tailbone, and spinal cord. You can see why it’s so important to have around!
For any pain that is sharp and shooting, think Hypericum. Several years ago I fell on some ice and smashed my tailbone and deeply bruised my shin. I was traveling with 8 of my children with an 8-hour drive ahead of me the next day. I depended on Hypericum to get me home! And, of course, it did. I was sore, required frequent stops, and leaned to the left the entire drive. But the next day, I felt fine. Look to this remedy if a tailbone is injured during labor as well.
In addition to injuries, the dentist is another place you’ll reach for the Hypericum. It can help ease the nerve pain that happens as the anesthesia wears off from dental work. No need to fear going to the dentist!
I created this printable page all about Hypericum and its keynotes. It can also be found in the 20-page Materia Medica. Hypericum is also a remedy I included in the Sports First Aid booklet as it is so wonderful for injuries.
