Happy New Year! I love January. It’s like the Monday of the year. A great time to start fresh and make changes. This year I am looking forward to the births of two new grandbabies, my oldest son going to play college football (somewhere), my 49th trip around the sun, and many new adventures as a homeopath. My husband and I looked back over the past year and discussed what worked, what didn’t, and what we wanted to change in the upcoming year.

Around the Table Talks
He said some things that warmed my heart. He encouraged me to add more appointment times for homeopathic clients in my week. Continuing he went on to remind me of why I started studying homeopathy. My love for my family and the deep-seated knowledge that there had to be a better way than the constant antibiotics and trips to the allergist. My husband shared with me how proud he is that my experience of using homeopathy with our family led me to teach other moms how to help their families. That led to me continuing my education resulting in becoming a certified homeopath. And that overflowed to opening a practice that is entering its second year! I started with 1-2 appointment times a week, not even sure I would get that many.
A Humble Brag Moment…
Can I get a moment here to give a shout-out to my husband? He is so good at supporting me. Whether it is treating a fever, an earache, or starting a homeopathic practice, he is amazing at reminding me of my priorities and not selling myself short.
The Story Continues
He also reminded me that we can’t afford traditional health insurance. We switched to a medical sharing program several years ago. This program really only covers major medical concerns. Without me using homeopathy with our family, we would be in the doctor’s office way more often, resulting in costing our family money. Money that could be used for much more beneficial ways, like food. With a big family, everything comes back to food.

Where are You?
Where are you on this journey? Are you on the medical merry-go-round of antibiotics, doctor appointments, meds, and more doctor appointments? Or have you stepped off without direction of where you want to go?
If either of these is you….stick around. I have spent the last year blogging about homeopathy and some wonderful things it can do. Go back and read up! Email me with your ideas for future blog posts.
Maybe you have read all the blogs and are ready for more instruction. You’re in luck. My beginner’s class, Legacy of Healing, starts in February. Let me know if you want more information or to get signed up.

My Beloved Pride
Ok. So you’re not a beginner, but not an expert either. Or you are an expert but want a monthly gathering with like-minded people to discuss homeopathy. I got you. My Pride of Healing membership is a monthly meeting to discuss various in-depth topics. It’s a great group and my favorite night of the month. Unlike my children, I have a favorite thing: my Pride group. I love the meetings and topics and even writing notes, even though I procrastinate every month. This month is no different. It will be getting to the editors at the moment. But, the topic!! Immune Support. I have learned a lot and am excited to share it with my group.
You’ve got a great man!! It really goes both ways… not only beside every great husband, is an encouraging wife! But, also beside every great wife, there is an encouraging husband!! And, 2 new grand babies on the way 🎉🎉🎉 Thanks for the encouragement!!
How sweet to read about all the encouragement from your husband! So glad he encouraged you and that you have been willing to share all your knowledge on homeopathy, it has been a real blessing to our family!
As I write this, our resident 3yo has come down with the flu making it our FIRST illness this winter- many thanks to homeopathy and your Pride group!! I have referenced those notes so often and dishing out the remedies straight away has helped us avoid or shorten the duration of many illnesses. I’m so thankful to be able to support my family in such a low-risk, cost effective way.
Good job, Mama!! Like you I learned to give remedies quickly as it really did help to shorten illnesses. Proud of you!
