If you’ve ever played the game “Never Have I Ever” you’ve probably had to put a finger down when someone said, “Never Have I Ever had a broken bone.” Broken bones are more common than they seem. I read somewhere (put can’t remember where to credit it) that an average person is expected to have at least two fractures in a lifetime. Homeopathic remedies for broken bones can encourage a rapid increase in bone-forming cells. Therefore speeding the healing process.
Symptoms of Broken Bones
A fracture is any crack or break in the bone that disrupts the continuity of the bone. God formed our bodies with naturally strong bones that do not break easily. A break can happen when a physical force that is greater than the bone itself is exerted on the bone. It can lead to a complete or partial breaking of the bone. The most common fractures are fractures of the collarbone, ankle, hip, and the bones of the arms. The treatment is to stabilize the fracture with splinting or a cast to keep the edges of the bone together so a callus can form. Thus, healing the break.
Heal Broken Bones Faster
Homeopathic remedies help in the formation of a healthy callus and they also boost the activity of the osteoblast cells (bone-forming cells). The remedies also help speed up the process of laying a new bone. These medicines are made of natural substances and can treat fractures effectively, without any side effects. It is IMPORTANT to note that these homeopathic remedies for broken bones should only be used after the bone is officially set. They then work to optimize the natural healing process of the body for quicker, stronger bone healing.
Using homeopathic remedies will help in reducing the pain and swelling at the site of the fracture.
Homeopathic Remedies for Broken Bones
- Symphytum – the best remedy for healing fractures. It is also called “the bone knitter” as it is so effective in increasing the cells that rebuild broken bone. It is also beneficial for pain at the fracture site. Many people have been able to get their casts off earlier than expected after using this remedy.
- Arnica – grab this one too! It is used to treat the swelling and pain at the site of the fracture. Arnica heals bruising that can result from a fall or injury. It is also good for pain in old bone injuries.
- Calc phos – great for slow-healing fractures. It helps to promote the callus that forms when broken bones are repaired.
- Silica – for brittle bones that fracture often. Silica strengthens weak bones. Consequently, it is commonly used to treat osteoporosis and cavities.
- Calendula – when the skin covering the fracture becomes raw and inflamed. Also, this remedy is used to treat compound fractures, when the bone pierces the skin. Check out my DIY Calendula Salve for more information about Caldendula’s healing properties.
How and When to Take the Remedies
Take the Sympthytum twice a day until a doctor confirms the bones have healed. Arnica can be taken as needed for pain. If Calc phos or Silica are needed based on symptoms, take those 2-3 times a day.
Broken bones are no joke. They are painful and can be scary. We are not left without a solution, however. Homeopathic remedies for broken bones can speed and support healing in a safe, non-toxic way.

This is so helpful! Per your guidance, I used symphytum for my two-year-old when she fractured her tibia; I think it shortened her healing time and gave me so much peace of mind.

Thanks so much for this, it will be so handy to refer to if (but hopefully not) needed!
